How the mock exam works
- The 40 questions are drawn at random from the 531 official questions, favouring the ones you have not seen yet.
- No correction during the test, like the real exam. You can go back to a question and change your answer until the end.
- At the end: your score, how many correct answers you are missing to reach 32, results by theme and a correction of every question with its official source.
- “Redo my mistakes” replays only the questions you missed, with the correction after each answer. Your history stays on your device.

Frequently asked questions
Is this mock exam official?
No. It is an independent practice tool with no link to the administration. The questions come from the official lists; the answer choices and explanations are ours, checked against service-public.gouv.fr and Légifrance.
How many correct answers do you need in the examen civique?
32 out of 40 (80%), in 45 minutes at most, according to service-public.gouv.fr. The simulation uses the same numbers.
Are these the same questions as in the real exam?
The questions come from the official lists, but the exam picks 40 of them: you will not necessarily see the same ones. The simulation is not a copy of an exam paper.
Are my results saved?
Only on your device, in your browser: your score history and the mistakes to redo. Nothing is sent to a server and you can erase everything.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the page and start. At the end you can leave your email to be told when the app launches; it is optional.
